12 Days of WebDesign.com: Day 1 – Free Access to WebDesign.com Webinars!

We kick off our 12 Days of WebDesign.com with a great way to expand your web design skills. We are giving away a Free One Month LIVE Webinar Pass to anyone who wants it. Check out what’s included with the One Month LIVE Webinar Pass.

What does this mean? It means you are invited to attend all the regular training webinars LIVE throughout the month of December.

To get your free pass, all you have to do is use coupon code FREEDEC at checkout and your total amount due will be dropped down to $0. (If you are a customer of iThemes or PluginBuddy, log in to your members’ download area and register from the “purchase & renew” link.)

Your coupon is good until the end of the 12 Days of WebDesign.com, but go ahead and grab it now so you can attend as many webinars as possible. FREEDEC

Curious about what webinars are being offered in December? There’s a whole range of topics from how to make your site play nice with Twitter, to working with BuddyPress, to what you really need to know about SEO and linking, to adaptive design, to a final “stump the professor” session that shouldn’t be missed.

There are 10 eligible webinars totaling about 14 hours of training time.  That’s 14 hours of LIVE training for free. Take a look at the Events page for the full listing.
(Once you get your free pass and log in to WebDesign.com you’ll be able to view the registration links for all the eligible webinars.)

(Please note, premium courses and Members’ Only Chats are excluded from the LIVE Webinar passes, as are video replays. The LIVE pass is for attending the webinars live.)

Stay tuned for Day 2 of the 12 Days of WebDesign.com…

Comments

  1. This would have been a good one to find out about on or before December 1. I got the email announcing the “12 Days of Web Design” this morning.

    • Nina East (Nina!) says:

Hi Valerie – sorry you missed the announcements. We first announced the 12 Days of WebDesign.com on November 21st. Of course, we didn’t announce what any of the gifts would be…couldn’t let the cat out of the bag. :)

This coupon for the free One Month LIVE Webinar pass can be used until December 12th, so there’s still plenty of time for people to take advantage of it and get free access for a full month.

  2. David Vogel says:

I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who missed that e-mail :)

and comma it’s even better to find out that there’s still time!

    Thanks

  3. Lorraine Rylance says:

I’d like to sign up for this free month of training, but don’t see it on the list when I go to Purchase & Renew products. Just the year and six month training appear there. What am I missing?

  4. Rebecca says:

Sorry if this comes off rude, but what a bad user experience:

First, I didn’t get the email until today either, and I am pretty good at checking all my IThemes emails. Are users expected to visit the site every day in case there is a promotion we are unaware of or not emailed about?

    Second

Clicking on the link, I attempted to sign up for the offer and was told that the e-mail I used was already registered, please log in. So I logged in to the Webdesign site, then attempted to use the offer again. No go, same error. I went to the IThemes site and logged in there, then went back and completed the process again. Still, same error. What? So…is this offer only for people who have never purchased anything or…?

    Third

I visited the webdesign TV site to see what upcoming “live webinars” would be available under this promotion. I couldn’t find a list anywhere. Are these just the same basic “introduction to builder” type webinars I can find on the Ithemes site for free already? I see you have no problems listing the names of your “premium” courses.

If you are using this promotion to draw interest to the (what I believe is new) live webinar membership option, this is a failed marketing attempt. And without this promotion, I highly doubt anyone would agree to spend $49 a month to access an unknown amount of live webinars of unknown topics.

Website = strong calls to action, but very little information to make the user feel comfortable enough to purchase.

    • Nina East (Nina!) says:

Hi Rebecca – sorry you had such a negative experience. Thanks for letting us know, and hopefully I can clarify.
We did send out some notifications ahead of time about the 12 Days of WebDesign.com coming up, but of course did not tell people what the promotions will be. That’s a surprise each day.

I’m a little confused about why someone would be upset that they didn’t find out about a specific surprise promotion until the day we announce it to everyone. All I can figure is that they didn’t realize they don’t have to use it immediately…they have until December 12th to use it. We gave it on the first to give people the most time to decide whether or not they want to use it. It’s a freebie.

Second, sorry if we weren’t clear about where existing customers should log in to use their coupon. We said existing customers of iThemes and PluginBuddy should log in to their “members’ download area”, which is the same place you go to download any purchases you have made. That’s actually where you should be going to make any purchases if you are an existing customer if you want to keep everything under the same account. We’ll try to make that even more explicitly clear in the future.

Third, all the WebDesign.com events are listed at http://WebDesign.com/events. This was identified in the blog post above, but I have now bolded the link based on your feedback. Hopefully that will make it more obvious to others if they have the same question. On that page you can see a full listing of all the webinars available to you through the end of December. There are quite a few webinars listed for the remainder of the month, and since the One Month LIVE Pass is for a full month, if someone uses the coupon on Dec. 12th, they would have access to webinars through January 11th. Make sense?

Hopefully that answers your questions and responds to your concerns. Please email sales@ithemes.com or click on the sales chat panda when it’s online (top right corner of the page) if you ever have any problems with making a purchase. The sales team is great at answering questions and helping out.

Do members have access to previous videos?
    Are they recorded somewhere?

  6. Raph says:

Ok forget my question….I see that replays are available!
