WebDesign.com just launched the new redesign of Baptist Messenger, Oklahoma’s third largest newspaper, on WordPress using a custom design.
Here are some of the features I’d like to point out that this new site has:
- Uses WordPress to power it — all their staff now have keys to post and edit stories, etc.
- Front rotating images are our new Image Spotlight plugin.
- Advertisements are currently powered by our Billboard plugin.
- We consulted with the Messenger staff to start using social media, in particular Twitter, as part of the site.
