Two weeks ago we had the awesome experience of attending our first SXSW Interactive Festival in the really cool town of Austin, Texas. While SXSW was a huge blast, we had the honor of meeting and hanging out with Lisa Sabin-Wilson.

Lisa, author of WordPress for Dummies and BuddyPress for Dummies , is a very talented designer and business woman. She is an entrepreneur who launched her own studio called E.Webscapes Blog Design Studio where she creates stunning websites and blogs with WordPress, TypePad, Movable Type, and Express Engine. She also happens to be a huge Pink Floyd fan!

As we got to know Lisa and hear her passions, we just knew that we had to work with her in some capacity. Today we are extremely pleased to announce to our WebDesign.com community that Lisa Sabin-Wilson will be joining us for some special projects and training events! Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge about starting and running a web design business and we are really excited that she will be sharing some of her valuable insight with our WD Members.

So please stay tuned in to what is going on and when you can expect to see some of Lisa’s awesome wisdom. Sign up for the WebDesign.com newsletter or follow us on Twitter – @webdesigncom to get the latest details. In the meantime, feel free to watch the interview we did at SXSW with Lisa.
